BREA : Maintenance Director McCarron Honored
Patrick McCarron, the city’s maintenance service director, has received this year’s Peter W. Walsh Award in recognition of his 26 years of service in municipal government.
The award was presented by the Maintenance Superintendents Assn.
The association’s executive board recently singled out McCarron from the organization’s 1,500 members in California and Nevada.
McCarron has been a Brea city employee for 21 years.
Before that, he worked five years with the City of Fullerton.
The Walsh Award, a bronze sculpture that depicts various aspects of maintenance work, will be on display at the Brea Civic & Cultural Center for one year.
