SOUTHEAST LOS ANGELES : Man Runs Into Path of Blue Line Train, Is Killed
A man was killed when he ran into the path of a southbound Blue Line train Friday night at Santa Fe Avenue and Long Beach Boulevard in southeast Los Angeles.
The man, believed to be about 30, “ignored warnings and just ran across the tracks and was hit by the train” said Steve Chesser, a Metropolitan Transportation Authority spokesman.
Traffic on the route was closed after the 6:48 p.m. accident, Chesser said.
