OUTLOOK
Oak Park is among the best teams in Ventura County and the team to beat in the Tri-Valley League. Williams, who averaged 16.2 points a game and was voted the league’s most valuable player, sat out the playoffs last season because of mononucleosis. Still, the Eagles reached the Division IV-A quarterfinals for the second consecutive season. Creason, the team’s other returning starter, led the county in assists (5.7 a game).

OUTLOOK
Experience is in short supply, but the newcomers are talented and Groff figures to shuffle the lineup depending on whom the Seraphs match up against. “Flexibility should be a strength,” he said. “We can be a good three-point shooting team or we can play power inside.” Molina averaged 9.6 points and 3.5 assists last season. Carr moved into a starting role late in the season.
Kennedy Cosgrove, Jeff Fletcher, Dana Haddad, Vince Kowalick and Michael Lazarus contributed to these capsules.
