Buena Park Man Is Fatally Shot
A 23-year-old Buena Park man died early Sunday several hours after he was shot in a residential area, authorities said.
Police drove to the 500 block of South Resh Street after receiving reports that several shots had been fired at 2:10 a.m.
Officers found a bleeding man lying on the road, police said. He had been shot several times in the upper body and was rushed to the UCI Medical Center in Orange.
The man died several hours later, Sgt. Steve Rodig said. Police would not disclose the identity of the victim.
Police have no suspects, and the motive for the shooting is unknown.
