SOUTH COUNTY : Two Cities Offering Flu Shot Clinics

South County residents can get flu shots at two locations this month.
The public can take advantage of a flu shot clinic sponsored by the Visiting Nurses Assn. this weekend at Sav-On Drugs, 23042 Alicia Parkway, Mission Viejo.
The $10 shots will be administered to those 13 and older from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Minors will need parental consent. The program accepts Medicare for senior citizens. For information, call (800) 616-SHOT.
Free flu shots are available every Thursday to seniors and people with respiratory illnesses at the Orange County Health Care Agency clinic, 27512 Calle Arroyo, San Juan Capistrano.
Nurses will give the shots between 10:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. only to seniors and people with respiratory problems.
