Anaheim 1, La Habra 1--Elmer Rivas scored on a penalty kick in the second half to tie the score for Anaheim. La Habra (3-0-2) got a first-half goal from Grant Froman. Jesus Acevedo had eight saves and Travis Pena had five for Anaheim (0-3-1).

Buena Park 3, Rancho Alamitos 2--George Calderon scored midway through the second half to break a 2-2 tie and goalie Aaron Hudson had 11 saves to preserve the victory for the Coyotes (4-3-2).

Capistrano Valley 2, Huntington Beach 0--Todd Weidner scored both goals for host Capistrano Valley (7-2-1).

Century 2, Costa Mesa 1--Hugo Alvardo scored the winning goal for Century (4-2-1) early in the second half. Juan Ponce, with an assist from Rigo Munguia, scored the Centurion’s first goal a minute before Alvardo’s. Costa Mesa’s goal came on a penalty kick.

Esperanza 2, Canyon 2--Clay Kilbarger scored on a header from Todd Stearman with about a minute left to earn a tie for host Canyon (3-3-3).

Foothill 1, San Clemente 1--Craig Akin scored for San Clemente (1-2-1) and Stephan Johnson scored for host Foothill (3-1-2).

Laguna Hills 2, Westminster 2--Manuel Tapia scored with a minute left to give Westminster a 2-1 lead, but Mike Thorpe scored with 30 seconds left for Laguna Hills (4-2-2). Joey Gummere also scored for Westminster (2-2-2) and Kevin McConaughy scored for Laguna Hills.

Mater Dei 3, Orange 0--Mater Dei upset No. 4 Orange, getting goals from Rudy Gomez, Kris Hulgreen and Greg Bechtold. Paul Gerdis had eight saves in the shutout.

Ocean View 2, Aliso Niguel 1--Tom Rowan and Kurt Nofsinger scored goals for host Ocean View (2-3-2).

Santa Ana 1, Marina 0--Fernando Cortez scored a second-half goal for second-ranked Santa Ana (2-2-1). Marina, ranked fifth in the county, dropped to 2-3-1.

Tustin 3, Newport Harbor 1--Reggie Curry scored the go-ahead goal in the second half and Joe Lunetto had two assists for host Tustin (2-2-2). Jerome Bouchard scored for Newport Harbor (6-2).

Trabuco Hills 1, El Toro 0--Chris Scana scored the game’s only goal off an assist from Angel Perdomo of Trabuco Hills (3-3-0) with 15 seconds left in the first half.

In the Brea-Olinda tournament:

Corona del Mar 2, Bellflower St. John Bosco 2 (Corona del Mar wins on shootout, 7-6)--Josh Weinstein and Aaron Perlmutter each scored for Corona del Mar (5-3) in first-round play.
