Surfers Booth, Parsons Advance in Australia

Jeff Booth of Laguna Beach and Mike Parsons of San Clemente advanced Saturday to the fourth round of the Coke Surf Classic at North Narrabeen, Australia.
Booth easily defeated Joey Jenkins of North Hollywood in the third round. Parsons edged Rob Machado of Encinitas, 25.33 to 25.10.
The event is the final one of the year on the Assn. of Surfing Professionals World Tour.
