Ticket prices for the Senior PGA Tour event at the Ojai Valley Inn have been reduced by the tournament’s new title sponsor, FHP Health Care.

The tournament will be held March 3-5. Tickets for the first three rounds have been pared from $12 to $10 and the final round from $15 to $12. Tickets for two rounds of pro-am competition March 1-2 have been reduced from $10 to $5.

Tour rookie Jay Sigel made up a 10-shot deficit with an eight-under 62 in the final round last year and then edged Jim Colbert in a four-hole playoff to win the title.

Miscellany

A women’s basketball game between Cal State Northridge and Loyola Marymount and a men’s swim meet between CSUN and Alaska-Anchorage scheduled for Wednesday at Northridge were canceled because heavy rain caused flooding around the campus.

The women’s basketball game will be played tonight at 7 at Northridge.
