PRO FOOTBALL DAILY REPORT : AFC PLAYOFFS : Chargers Are No Fair-Weather Team
Weather forecasters are projecting game-time temperatures in the high 40s Sunday at Three Rivers Stadium--chilly for San Diego but uncharacteristically mild for a mid-January day in Pittsburgh.
“We have the reputation of being the warm-weather boys,” Charger Coach Bobby Ross said. “We’ve played in bad weather before, but we can’t concern ourselves with that because we can’t do anything about it.”
