Police States
Hello! Police states are run by massive government bureaucracies, not minimal government right-wingers. Nat Hentoff’s Column Left, “Get Someone to Police the Federal Cops” (Jan. 9) should have been in Column Right, or better yet since he is truly a centrist, down the middle of the page.
If you think that a police state can survive in anything less than a medium of bloated government, you are living in a fantasy.
