Construction Closes Lanes of Trask Avenue
Storm drain construction has forced the closure of one lane in both directions of Trask Avenue between Flower and Westlake streets.
City engineer Bill Patapoff said this week that motorists should avoid the area during construction hours, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Construction, which began Tuesday, is expected to be completed in May, he said.
Although traffic and parking will be restricted, residents and business owners will be given access along the construction site, he said.
The project is intended to prevent flooding at Bowen Street and Trask Avenue and at Westlake Street and Trask Avenue, Patapoff said.
