SOUTHERN SECTION WRESTLING DUAL-MEET TEAM PRELIMINARIES
In Division II prelims:
El Toro loses--The Chargers, who took the place of Irvine as the Sea View League representative, lost to Fontana AB Miller in the quarterfinals, 36-31, at Temecula Valley High School. Temecula Valley beat AB Miller 43-21 in the semifinals.
In Division III prelims:
Santa Ana advances--Santa Ana, ranked fifth in the county, edged La Verne Damien, 31-28, thanks to technical falls from Ignacio Bahena at 114 pounds, Sadie Morales (121) and Alphonzo Perez (191). Santa Ana will face Atascadero next Thursday in the Division III final at 7:30 p.m. at Atascadero.
