North Hollywood rallied from an 11-point fourth-quarter deficit to pull out 51-50 victory over Locke in a first-round City Section 4-A girls’ basketball playoff game.

Samantha Fargeon scored with 12 seconds left for the Huskies (20-2), who played most of the fourth quarter without All-City guard Anna Celaya.

Celaya, who averages 25.9 points a game, fouled out with more than seven minutes left in the fourth quarter. She finished with 22 points.

“We’ve never had to rally like this before. The girls who haven’t played much really stepped up for us,” said Coach Rich Allen, whose team extended its winning streak to 17 games.

Palisades 57, Sylmar 35--Nadra Manley scored 16 points for Sylmar (12-5) in a first-round loss at Palisades.

3-A DIVISION

Chatsworth 71, Lincoln 51--Nancy Vincent had 21 points and 11 rebounds for Chancellors (18-5) at Chatsworth.

Tynitra Wilson added 13 points and 15 rebounds for the Chancellors (18-5), who held Lincoln (6-9) to four points in the first quarter.

Grant 62, Eagle Rock 41--Kristin Kyley-Boynton scored 23 points and grabbed 18 rebounds for the Lancers (13-10) at Grant.

Kolleen Gregory scored 19 points for the Eagles (13-12).
