Roosevelt 57, Banning 40--Clinging to a 26-24 third-quarter lead, Dawn Pellerin scored eight points during a 17-6 run to help the Roughriders build a 43-30 lead early in the fourth quarter of a 4-A quarterfinal game on Wednesday.

Edna Alvarez, who connected on three three-point baskets, and Zenobia Tyson Hunt each scored 18 points. Hunt also grabbed 12 rebounds and Jennifer Brambilla had eight assists and three steals.
