BURBANK : Actress to Receive Health-Care Honor

Actress Lynda Carter, best-known for her television role as “Wonder Woman,” will be honored for “years of real-life, charitable good deeds” at the 7th annual Pinnacle Awards, sponsored by the Burbank-based UniHealth Foundation, officials said.
Carter, whose award is to be presented by “Entertainment Tonight” host Mary Hart, is being honored for her work as a spokeswoman for breast cancer research and other health issues.
Pinnacle Awards are presented annually to celebrities who have aided conhealth-care causes. The ceremony, reception and dinner, is at 6:15 p.m. Friday at the Century Plaza Hotel, 2025 Avenue of the Stars, Century City. For more call (310) 476-8390.
