According to a survey, Orange County residents are willing to volunteer their time to help agencies hurt by the bankruptcy.

A recent Times Orange County Poll found that half of the county’s adult residents said they would be willing to volunteer time to help local schools or agencies facing budget cuts. Of those willing to help out, 28% said they would work four or more hours per month.

The Times Poll was conducted in January by Mark Baldassare and Associates.

The 600 adults interviewed in the telephone survey were randomly chosen.
