Show Is Real Springboard for Fantasy

Share

It was no “Fashion Fantasy,” as the title conveyed at the Laguna Niguel Chamber of Commerce’s annual fashion show recently. The spring looks unveiled to more than 450 guests lunching at the Ritz-Carlton hotel were very rooted in reality. And on display was something for everyone.

The event, presented by Elite Productions, benefited the Chamber of Commerce and Laura’s House, a shelter for victims of domestic violence. After the fashion parade, guests shopped the racks set up in the courtyard under a gentle afternoon sun.

Fashions hailed mostly from Laguna Niguel shops Champagne, My Sister’s Closet, Something More, Marie’s Boutique, Rose LeDonne, Monarch Silks and Fuller’s. Brea Mall stores Mel’s Boutique and Allusions also participated. Kenneth Cole (whose shoes were on mostly every model) was among the fund-raiser’s sponsors. Stylists from Salon Salon in Monarch Beach performed the hairdo honors.
