OXNARD : Library Group Seeks Help at Book Sale

Share

The Friends of Oxnard Library are looking for volunteers to help with the library’s two-day book sale April 29 and 30, which will raise money for an after-school homework program and a new video camera security system.

Organizers are looking for a hand in sorting the hundreds of books into 30 categories, from classics to computer books to mysteries.

“We need people,” said Shirley Olsen, one of the book sale’s organizers. “We made $8,000 or $9,000 last year, and this year’s sale will be even bigger.”
