Stage Lineup at the Fair: No Surprises

A new organization has booked the shows, but music fans attending the Orange County Fair this year won’t see much change in the range and level of attractions at the ’95 edition of the annual event.

SMG Facility Management, the company recently contracted to run the fairgrounds’ big venue, the Pacific Amphitheatre, has programmed a 17-night run of shows in keeping with past years’ blend of country, rock oldies, comedy and youth-oriented pop-R&B.; The acts will perform in the 8,500-seat Pacific Amphitheatre, but most of them have played 500-capacity clubs or 2,000-seat theaters in past Orange County appearances.

All shows start at 7:30 p.m. and are free with regular fair admission of $6 (with discounts for seniors, teens and children). Information: (714) 708-3247. The lineup is as follows:
