Spurs’ Fans, Ceballos Ruin Trip to San Antonio
As a Laker season ticket holder, I decided to follow the Lakers to San Antonio for the playoffs. Wearing my No. 9 jersey, I went with friends to Game 1. I have been to many arenas across the country and I have never been so appalled at the treatment I received at the Alamodome. The fans were obnoxious, belligerent and unknowledgeable. They make those at Candlestick Park during a Dodger- Giant series seem like finishing school graduates.
As bad as that was, I was embarrassed more by the attitude of Cedric Ceballos. A team player he’s not. When he was replaced by Del Harris, he pouted at the end of the bench. During timeouts he sat alone and stared straight ahead.
To the San Antonio fans--you don’t deserve a championship. To Cedric Ceballos--grow up.
