The Mini Stock main event at Saugus Speedway was interrupted twice by yellow flags, and both times Robert Hynes ended up on the short end.

During a caution flag, Terry Limberopoulos of Bellflower took advantage of Hynes getting caught in congestion on Lap 19.

Limberopoulos went on to win the event.

“Terry happened to weasel in on the outside,” Hynes said. “I went inside and he went high. He’s a crafty driver.”
