LOS ANGELES : Heidi Fleiss’ Sentencing Postponed Until Wednesday

Share

Sentencing for Heidi Fleiss on pandering charges was postponed Friday so her lawyers could try to work out a plea bargain in the federal money-laundering and tax evasion case against her.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Judith Champagne reset the hearing for Wednesday over the objections of Deputy Dist. Atty. Alan Carter and only after defense lawyer Donald Marks assured her this would be the final delay.

Fleiss, 29, faces at least three years in prison and as much as eight years and eight months behind bars for her December conviction on three counts of pandering. She was accused of supplying high-priced prostitutes to wealthy businessmen and Hollywood luminaries.
