DRESS CODE: A word of warning to those suiting up for Friday’s opening of Six Flags’ Hurricane Harbor water park near Valencia: Leave the G-string bikini at home. . . . Six Flags spokeswoman Bonnie Rabjohn said only swimwear “appropriate for a family environment” will be allowed at the park. As an added precaution, some staff will even monitor guests for revealing swimwear. After all, said Rabjohn, “This is L.A.”

LAWSUIT: Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital in Valencia has been ordered to pay $1.75 million to a Thousand Oaks woman who said her husband died while under the hospital’s care. . . . A Van Nuys jury sided with Laura Wood’s claim that doctors gave her husband a fatal dosage of morphine following an operation (B1). The hospital said it would seek a new trial.

When the credits roll on Disney’s latest animated feature, “Pocahontas,” 63 of the 750-plus names will be alumni of the Valencia art school. It’s no record, though: Sixty-four CalArts alumni earned screen credits on “The Lion King.”
