LAKE LOS ANGELES — Authorities on Sunday arrested a man on suspicion of killing his 44-year-old girlfriend at their home, Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies said.
Merrill Marvosh, 45, told deputies that he killed Diane Paquin Saturday night during an argument. Marvosh said he hit the woman with a heavy object, Deputy Diane Hecht said.
Investigators did not say what the argument was about. Before calling authorities Sunday morning, Marvosh found a baby-sitter for the couple’s 9-month-old son.
Marvosh was being held without bail on suspicion of murder at the Antelope Valley Sheriff’s Station.
