Westside : Beverly Hills Store’s Police and Fire Sale
Beverly Hills’ finest have gone into business, offering souvenirs with a police and firefighting theme at a Rodeo Drive shop they call the Department Store.
T-shirts, teddy bears, sweat shirts and caps are on sale, with proceeds going to retiree health care benefits.
Soon, shoppers will be able to buy terry-cloth robes that say, “Stolen From the Beverly Hills Jail.”
Sorry, no guns, badges, uniform patches or official jackets.
And by the way, this is one store that may not be a good target for shoplifters.
