Wetlands Photos Sought for Contest

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Amateur photographers who have taken pictures at the Bolsa Chica wetlands may enter the ninth annual photo contest of Amigos de Bolsa Chica.
The entry deadline is July 31. Photos must have been taken within the wetlands and may include herons, egrets and other bird or animal life as well as vegetation, landscapes and people.
Entry forms are available at Huntington Beach City Hall, 2000 Main St., local camera shops, or by calling Los Amigos’ office at (714) 897-7003.
Winners will receive $100 gift certificates, ribbons and cash prizes. Photographs will be on display at City Hall in September.
