Woman Abducted From Street, Raped
COSTA MESA —
A 25-year-old Santa Ana woman was raped early Saturday morning after being abducted from a street corner here.
The woman was abducted at 2:42 a.m. from the area of Bristol Street and Sunflower Avenue, Sgt. Bob Durham said. She was taken in a vehicle to another city, where the sexual assault occurred at an unspecified location.
Police were not releasing a description of the suspect or suspects, or of the vehicle in which she was abducted.
No other information was available.
