REDLANDS--The Redlands Heritage Festival brings activities, entertainment and a celebration of local history to downtown, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. July 29. Exhibits include vintage autos, tractors and bicycles and citrus packinghouse memorabilia. Also featured: crafts, storytelling, water games, music, dance and melodrama. Along East State Street. Free. TRUCKEE--”50 Years of Warbirds” is the theme for the 26th annual Truckee Tahoe Air Show, July 29-30 at the Truckee Tahoe Airport, off California 267. The show, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the end of World War II, is noon-3:30 p.m. both days. Festivities begin at 7 a.m. with a pancake breakfast and a hot-air balloon launch. $10, general; $6, kids 7-12 and seniors; free for kids 6 and under. (916) 582-9068.
SANTA BARBARA--The smell of souvlakia and the melodies of the Hellenic Sounds fill the air at the 22nd annual Santa Barbara Greek Festival, 11 a.m.-7 p.m. July 29-30. Traditional foods, dance and music and a Greek boutique are featured in Oak Park. (Pueblo Street exit from the northbound U.S. 101.) (805) 683-4492. COURTLAND--Festivities pay tribute to a lucrative local fruit at the Pear Fair, 9 a.m.-7 p.m. July 30. OXNARD--Maxi Priest, Pato Banton, Michael Rose and Third World are among the headliners at Reggae Jam on the Coast, Aug. 5-6 at College Park, 3250 S. Rose Ave. Music, international foods and ethnic crafts are offered noon-8:30 p.m. Saturday; noon-7 p.m. Sunday. Advance tickets: $20 for one day; $35 for both. At the gate: $22.50 per day.
