Countywide : Red Cross Seeking Blood Drive Donors

The American Red Cross is now signing up blood donors for its annual Southern California blood drive. The event, the largest blood drive of the year, begins Aug. 7 and runs through Aug. 12.
In Orange County, donations will be taken at 600 N. Parkcenter Drive in Santa Ana.
For the first time, donors also may volunteer to be tested as potential bone marrow donors free of charge.
Blood drive hours are 2:45 to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday. On Saturday, volunteers may donate blood between 11 a.m. and 4:15 p.m.
