Shawn Boskie pitched 2 2/3 innings, giving up three runs on six hits, in his rehabilitation start Thursday night at Lake Elsinore. Boskie, who is recovering from an elbow injury, struck out one, walked one and threw 46 pitches.
“I felt like I really was rusty,” Boskie said. “I felt like I didn’t have any strength, which is why I’m making these starts. But my arm feels really good. It feels like I hardly threw at all.”
Boskie will make his second rehabilitation start on Tuesday.
