Short-Term Shelter Needed for Children
Volunteers are sought to provide evening and weekend short-term shelter for children.
Interface, a nonprofit children and family services agency, provides “cool home” shelter to help youth who need temporary space away from their families.
Providing shelter and a caring environment can give a child and family members the time needed to work out problems, Interface officials said.
Interface provides training and financial reimbursement for “cool home” families.
For more information or to volunteer, call Interface at 485-6114.
