Mission Hills : Car Is Fired Upon; Pair Are Slightly Hurt
Two young people driving in Mission Hills escaped serious injury Friday after unknown gunmen fired at least a dozen shots into their car, Los Angeles police said.
The pair, ages 19 and 21, were driving in the vicinity of San Jose and Devonshire streets about 2:30 a.m. when three cars filled with young people began following them and fired on their vehicle, police said.
The victims, whose names were unavailable, were taken to a nearby hospital where they were treated for minor injuries and released. Police spotted at least 12 bullet holes in the victims’ car.
No suspects were in custody.
