Joey Buttafuoco was found guilty Wednesday of violating probation, bringing the possibility of more time in prison for the statutory rape of Amy Fisher.

Buttafuoco faces up to 3 1/2 years in prison when he is sentenced Sept. 15 by Nassau County Court Judge Jack Mackston.

Buttafuoco violated probation by getting arrested in May in Los Angeles and pleading no contest to the solicitation of an undercover female police officer, the judge ruled.

Buttafuoco pleaded guilty in 1993 to the statutory rape of Fisher, who was 16 when the two began having an affair.

Fisher shot Buttafuoco’s wife, Mary Jo, in the head in May, 1992, leaving the Long Island housewife disabled and disfigured. Fisher is serving a five- to 15-year sentence.
