“Turn Out the Lights. . .”

* GREEN BAY (0-1) AT CHICAGO (1-0): The Packers know how to crash a party. They outscored the Bears, 73-9, in two victories last season and have whipped Chicago four of last six. Packers feature No. 1 NFC defense. Big deal, they fell to the Rams. Quarterback Brett Favre continues to complete passes to the opposition; he had three passes intercepted in opener. Packers’ Chris Jacke has a pulled hamstring, but will still try to kick. Take a seat, Steve Walsh, Erik Kramer quieted clamor with three touchdown passes as the starting quarterback for the Bears. Robert Green starts for running back Lewis Tillman, who injured an ankle. But both players only touch the ball until rookie Rashaan Salaam is ready to be the man. Wide receivers Curtis Conway and Jeff Graham each had 100-yard-plus games against the Vikings. The last time a pair of Bear receivers had two 100-yard games was Sept. 19, 1985 (Willie Gault and Dennis McKinnon).

Blame it on Frank Gifford: Bears have lost six consecutive games on “Monday Night Football.”
