Buttafuoco Jailed in N.Y. for Soliciting Sex in L.A.
A judge ignored Joey Buttafuoco’s pleas for leniency Friday and jailed him for a probation violation--soliciting a Los Angeles police officer posing as a prostitute.
Under the sentence by Judge Jack Mackston, the man who was at the center of the “Long Island Lolita” case will spend at least 67 days in the Nassau County Jail. Buttafuoco was led from the courtroom in handcuffs to begin his term immediately after the hearing.
Buttafuoco, 39, was arrested four months ago in Los Angeles. He pleaded no contest, paid a $900 fine and court costs and was ordered to take an AIDS education class and AIDS test.
