Kim Mortensen of Thousand Oaks High rolled to her second course record in as many weeks, winning her race in the Mt. Carmel Invitational cross-country meet Saturday at Morley Field in San Diego.

Mortensen timed 14 minutes 54 seconds over the 2.6-mile course to win the senior girls’ race. She chopped 32 seconds off the course mark she set in last year’s junior race.
