John G. Bubert, a longtime Ventura County resident, has died after a brief illness. He was 91.
Bubert was born Feb. 3, 1904, in Quiver, Ill. He moved to Camarillo 18 years ago from Santa Monica. He was a retired plant supervisor for Harper Furniture Manufacturing Co. in Torrance.
Bubert, who died Thursday at P. V. Extended Care in Camarillo, is survived by his wife, Gladys Bubert of Camarillo, and many nieces and nephews in Illinois.
Donations may be made in Bubert’s name to the Braille Institute.
There will be no funeral services. Interment will be at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park, Camarillo.
