Pacoima : Man Found Dead in Friend’s Driveway
A Pacoima man was found dead early Wednesday morning in the driveway of a friend he had visited the night before.
Los Angeles police said Mario Hinojos died of an apparent drug overdose and was found sprawled on the driveway near his car by Gilbert Rico as Rico was preparing to leave for work that morning.
Rico told police that Hinojos had visited him and his family late Tuesday evening and left the house in good condition.
Police said Rico told them he had heard strange noises in front of his house later that night but thought nothing of them.
