Rick Rauth scored five goals to lead Harvard-Westlake past Crespi, 22-2, Thursday in a Mission League match at Crespi.
David Stone, Albert Won and Steve Brende each added three goals for the Wolverines (7-1, 2-0 in league), who haven’t lost a Mission League match since 1990 and have a 91-1 league record over the past nine years.
GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL
Kennedy d. Taft 15-10, 15-0, 15-3--Christine Thach had 10 kills for Kennedy (3-1) in a Northwest Valley Conference opener.
Cleveland d. El Camino Real, 15-12, 10-15, 15-13, 9-15, 15-11--Azizia Shepard had 11 kills as the Cavaliers (2-1) opened Northwest Valley play.
Sylmar d. Canoga Park, 15-9, 15-7, 15-6--Anne Guevarra had nine kills and Sandra Smiley (3-0) had 27 assists for Sylmar in a Valley Pac-8 Conference opener.
