PRO FOOTBALL DAILY REPORT : AFC : Hip Is Marino’s Main Concern

Dan Marino, walking with crutches, says his bruised hip is causing more concern than his surgically repaired right knee.
Marino, 34, who visited the Miami Dolphins’ training complex, said his knee feels better every day. But the hip, severely bruised and drained of blood, is still discolored and painful.
“Even if I didn’t hurt the knee, I couldn’t have played Sunday [against New Orleans] with the hip,” Marino said.
