L.A. Baptist 36, Western Christian 6--Chris Ross rushed for 222 yards and two touchdowns in 20 carries for the Knights in a league opener at Citrus College.
Peter Dirksen of L.A. Baptist (1-5) completed seven of 12 passes for 83 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for a touchdown.
Eric Ahlstrand of Western Christian (0-6) completed 10 of 29 passes for 140 yards and threw three interceptions.
