Chatsworth : Chamber Plans First Expo Since ’94 Quake

Share

It’s been a long road back from last year’s earthquake for many Chatsworth businesses, but on Tuesday they will show off their products and services at a trade show in Woodland Hills, organizers announced.

Sponsored by the Chatsworth Chamber of Commerce, the Business-to-Business Expo will feature exhibits from 45 of the organization’s 350 members, including banks, credit unions, travel agencies and health clinics. According to Executive Director Alison Hakeem, it’s the first event of its kind since the quake, although the chamber hopes to present it annually from now on.

“It’s just to give the participants an opportunity to meet people and talk about their businesses,” Hakeem said. She added that it’s also a good opportunity for Chatsworth residents and non-chamber members to learn more about the area’s business community.

The expo will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the ground-floor ballroom of the Warner Center Hilton & Towers, 6360 Canoga Ave., Woodland Hills.

Admission is free. For more information, contact the chamber at (818) 341-2428.
