OJAI : Nordhoff High Will Hold Disaster Drill
In order to prepare for events such as earthquakes and fires, Ventura County emergency officials will hold a disaster drill at Nordhoff High School in Ojai today.
The drill will simulate an explosion in one of the school’s classrooms. The emergency will involve the entire campus.
Practicing rescuers will include representatives from the Ojai Valley Community Hospital, Los Padres Forest Service and the Ventura County fire and sheriff’s departments. The drill will take place between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
