Chatsworth : Unidentified Man Dies After Car Crash
An unidentified man who apparently lost control of his car, crashed into a telephone pole and then into a tree, died early Wednesday morning in Chatsworth, police said.
Valley Traffic Officer Ken Grik said the man was driving north on Winnetka Avenue near the intersection of Prairie Street about 1 a.m. when he lost control of his car.
The man’s car brushed by one tree and then rammed into the pole before finally hitting a second tree.
Grik said officers had to extricate the man from his car.
He was taken to Northridge Medical Center Hospital, where he later died, police said.
No one else was injured, Grik said.
