South Torrance’s Edgar Dominguez kicked a 31-yard field goal with two seconds to play to give the Spartans a 10-7 victory over Mira Costa, ending the Mustangs’ five-game winning streak. . . . Rashad Bartholomey rushed for 228 yards and three touchdowns to lead Peninsula to a 28-14 victory over Torrance. Peninsula played without quarterback Damon Gourdine, out because of an ankle injury. Gourdine, who has rushed for 425 yards and 10 touchdowns and passed for 575 yards and four touchdowns, should be back this week. Peninsula remains undefeated. . . . Jeff Waters, Carson’s top safety, will have to sit out this week’s game against Washington because he was ejected for arguing with an official during a 41-35 loss to San Pedro. . . . North Torrance ended its 19-game losing streak with a 12-7 victory over West Torrance. . . . Banning’s Trayvon Thomas had three interceptions in a 13-6 victory over Crenshaw. His first two interceptions set up the Pilots’ only touchdown, and his final one came on the last play of the game as Crenshaw was trying to score.
