Three Teams Share South Coast Title
San Clemente, Mater Dei and Dana Hills tied for the South Coast League girls’ volleyball championship by winning Thursday.
San Clemente (13-3, 8-2 in league), ranked second in the county, defeated Trabuco Hills, 15-2, 15-12, 15-6.
Third-ranked Mater Dei (17-2, 8-2) defeated Mission Viejo, 15-4, 14-2, 15-1.
JamiBarihad 19 kills and 19 digs to lead No. 7 Dana Hills (10-6, 8-2) past Capistrano Valley, 15-13, 10-15, 15-3, 15-7.
Playoff seedings will be determined today.
