Santa Barbara City 42, Ventura 36--J.T. Stone threw four touchdown passes and rushed for 118 yards to hand the Pirates their 14th consecutive WSC North Division defeat.

Stone completed 23 of 42 for 255 yards for Santa Barbara (4-3-1, 4-2-1, 2-1).

Elihu Vann rushed for 170 yards and three touchdowns in 33 carries as Ventura (1-7, 1-7, 0-3) forged a 28-28 tie in the final quarter.

However, Twuan Hill’s third touchdown of the game, a two-yard run, and Stone’s touchdown pass after a turnover on Ventura’s ensuing series thwarted Ventura.
