THOUSAND OAKS : Police Offer Reward in Drive-By Shooting
Police are offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the gunmen involved in a drive-by shooting in Thousand Oaks last month.
The shooting occurred Oct. 29 about 12:45 a.m. in the 1000 block of Burtonwood Avenue. The shooter was armed with a shotgun and fired four to five rounds into the house, shattering a bedroom window.
Investigators think that the shooting was gang-related and might have been in retaliation for a shooting that occurred in February.
Witnesses said the four gunmen escaped in a 1987 primer gray Chevrolet Monte Carlo.
Anyone with information is asked to call 494-8255. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
