David Bell had a banner night for Western Thursday, turning a short pass from quarterback Dean Chambers into a 62-yard touchdown and kicking four extra points. But it was his kickoff following the touchdown that drew the evening’s loudest applause. He booted the ball an estimated 73 yards and through the goal posts.
