Huntington Police Seek Help in Motel Rape
Police released sketches Friday of two men being sought in connection with an October rape involving a couple at a Huntington Beach motel.
The victims were asleep Oct. 15 in a motel on Pacific Coast Highway when the assailants entered their room through an unlocked window, police said.
While one pointed a gun at the man and said, “Don’t be a hero,” the other raped the woman while holding another gun to her head.
The gunmen then stole some cash from the couple and fled.
Both handguns were described as chrome-colored semiautomatics.
One of the attackers is described as black, 18 to 24 years old, 5-feet-10 and about 160 pounds, with braided black hair or a ponytail. He was wearing a white T-shirt and long black baggy pants.
The other is described as Latino, 18 to 24, about 5-foot-10, with a thin build and a mustache. He was wearing a blue denim long-sleeve shirt buttoned to the collar and baggy blue jeans.
Police ask that anyone with information about the crime call (714) 536-5966.
